This design was a passion project of mine and a way to showcase not only my design skills but my creative writing as well. The story itself was fully written by me and is a nonfiction piece regarding my own familial trauma.

The design itself is a perfect example of a book and publication layout. The photography inside the piece is also original, ensuring that the readers have an even deeper connection to the story.

I designed this entire project using the Adobe platform, specifically Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. I was both the Lead Designer, Lead Researcher, and writer for the nonfiction piece, A Sunny Day in May.
