The New York Public Library.

The City That Never Sleeps.

My connection to novels began at a very young age. This strong bond I have with stories began with the amount of time I spent in and out of libraries, falling asleep on their chairs and browsing through the stacks. Designing banners and library cards for the New York Public Library was the perfect connection that combined my passion with work.

What do New Yorkers love more than bagels and books? A glass of iced coffee. After illustrating a coffee cup, I designed the New York Public Library’s marketing campaign starting with NYC taxi cab yellow. New York City is one of the most incredible cities, now with a library card to go with it.

I designed this entire project using the Adobe platform, specifically Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. I was both the Lead Designer and Lead Researcher for the redesign and creation of the New York Public Library’s card.
